Helen & Kevin were married at the Sacred Heart Church in Moreton, Wirral, and held their wedding reception at the Macdonald Craxton Wood Hotel in Cheshire. The hotel is a lovely venue for wedding photography with beautiful and large gardens.
Before the ceremony I was able to pop over to see Helen leaving the house with her dad. Helen looked fantastic in her dress (it was from Opulence Bride in West Kirby, links on the facebook page).
It’s a while since my last wedding at the Sacred Heart, but I love the light colours inside, which somehow seem just right for a wedding.
Helen & Kevin both looked really happy coming back down the aisle, and carried on smiling for the rest of the day
Looking back, I’m sure I could have made a rainbow from all those dresses, fab colours.
When we arrived at Craxton Wood Helen & Kevin were treated to a glass of champagne, lovely.
There’s a huge variety in the quality of service at different wedding venues in my experience, and the staff at Craxton Wood were some of the most helpful I’ve come across.

Simon Brown, AKA the Singing Piano Man performed outside as well as later on in the reception room. He’s a really nice guy and his music is ideal for weddings etc.

The speeches were lovely, a great mix of humour, emotion and memories.

The first dance was very romantic, it was like Helen and Kevin were in a world of their own.
