Lianne & Marc were married at the beautiful Saint Saviour’s Church in Oxton on the Wirral, and held their wedding reception at Thornton Manor. Thornton Manor is one of the best locations for wedding photography in Cheshire, with a combination of beautiful architecture, stunning interiors and huge and diverse gardens. Combine that with a beautiful and happy bride and groom, a fabulously sunny April day, and a friendly and fun loving selection of guests and you have a Cheshire wedding photographer’s perfect storm![]()

There’s a lovely spot along a lane on the grounds of Thornton Manor, so we took a detour to take some bride and groom portraits there among the spring flowers.

I LOVE LOVE this wedding cake. It was supplied via Lisa Simmons from English Rose Weddings who also organised the Flowers, venue dressing and organisation on the big day. Lisa was really a big help on the day and everything went very smoothly.

I just asked the girls to smile, and this happened! Fortunately the wind didn’t turn.

The great hall at Thornton Manor looked fantastic with the pink theme and matching lighting.

Here’s a small selection of images from Lianne & Marc’s Wedding at Saint Saviour’s in Oxton and Thornton Manor on the Wirral. More to come soon.
