Lucy and Garry were married at St John’s Church in Great Sutton, and held their reception at my new favourite wedding location, Iscoyd Park, a country house in Shropshire. Parts of the house date back to 1700, and the property has been restored in recent years, with work finishing in May 2010, 20 mins before wedding guests arrived! The house is beautiful, inside and out, with fantastic gardens. The wedding breakfast was held in the marquee, and was a feast to behold, with carefully chosen wine to accompany each of the five courses! I was there from early morning, until very late at night and had a wonderful time. Thanks to the lovely Lucy and Garry.
Lucy making final adjustments.
I would kill to have hair that long!

How many men does it take to adjust a bow tie?![]()

This little guy has his tie just perfect!
Here comes the stunning bride…with a very proud dad.

Married![]()
Everyone loves the confetti!
Cheers!

I like to make sure the bride and groom have time to relax.
Cute canapes.

The house is gorgeous.

The v. expensive dessert wine! I hope he’s going to share it ;-)
My fave bit… the speeches.

A lovely moment captured.

Three cheeky chaps!

The singer was great.

We sneaked off to the woods for these two…

…and then to the field of gold. One of my favourites from the day.

Maybe a little too much dessert wine?
After the family formal groups, it’s nice to catch relaxed shots with friends.

This couple impressed us all with their dancing.

First dance.

Loved the metal group!

The guests were thoroughly enjoying themselves…

…and the band were giving it loads!
Louise and Alec were married, and held their reception at the lovely location of Llyndir Hall in North Wales. It was the first time I have covered Llyndir hall, but I was very impressed with the venue, and the staff were friendly and competent. The weather was prone to a few showers that day, but they were lucky to be able to have a pretty garden ceremony, which is a rare treat for the wedding photographer! Louise and Alec were lots of fun to work with, very relaxed, and it was easy to capture them both beaming with happiness!
The very cute Erin, and her daddy.
A very happy bride getting ready.

Alec looking dashing…and not a bit nervous!

Here comes the bride!

I love to capture the first look.

I deliberately focussed on the reader here, but I love the smiling faces in the background.

Exit down the aisle, with TONS of confetti! The clean-up operation was a huge job!

Bit of a cheeky one…but I think Alec is ready for a drink!!![]()

It’s always nice to get shots of the bride and groom chatting to their guests.

Louise looking beautiful![]()

Greeting the guests from the top table.

I love the reaction from Louise here.

It’s not a proper Best Man’s speech if the groom doesn’t cringe!

I love to capture people’s faces during the speeches.

Louise launching the bouquet.

Triumphant lady after catching the bouquet!
North Wales is one of my very favourite parts of the world. What’s not to like, great beaches, fantastic countryside, castles and of course the hills. Of course, it’s also one of my favourite places for weddings as well. Joanne & Kevin were married at the Ebeneser Chapel in Caenarfon, and held their wedding reception at the Celtic Royal Hotel nearby.

This was my first visit to the Ebeneser Chapel, what a lovely little church it is. I love the steps and arches at the front, as well as the fact that it’s only a stones throw away from the magnificent Caenarfon Castle.

Joanne and Kevin looked so happy coming back down the aisle together.

I love this photo, they both look great, and really relaxed and happy.

I love being able to capture the wedding speeches, it’s a great opportunity not just to photograph the speakers, but also the reactions of the other guests.
