Well, the photographs from Emma & Gareth’s wedding at the Great John Street Hotel in Manchester are now edited, so here’s a selection for you all:

On this shot of the front of the hotel, you can see the lovely roof terrace on top, what a great feature for a hotel at the centre of a built up city like Manchester.

One thing I love is attention to detail, and this venue has lots of stylish details to take in.

BTW, in case you didn’t know, the Great John Street Hotel was once a school:

The Oyster Bar at the centre of the Hotel has great atmospheric lighting, very relaxing, the wedding guests were certainly enjoying it.

The central Manchester location is excellent for lifestyle portraiture type shots, so I spent a few minutes with Gareth getting some cool portraits before the ceremony.

Emma looked fantastic in her very contemporary wedding dress.

Gareth’s best man, just checking for the wedding rings.

The ceremony was in the Roof Top Lounge, so afterwards, everybody simply spilled out onto the roof terrace to enjoy the fresh air.

This little guy was just 3 weeks old, not sure what he made of it all, but he didn’t seem too concerned.

Lovely tulips, ideal for a spring wedding.

Emma & Gareth just seemed to be totally enjoying the whole day, they were very easy to photograph as they seemed to be smiling all the time!

The party moved back down to the Oyster bar for the evening reception and wedding buffet.

It was time for me to go, but I captured a few shots of the happy couple first.
