An outdoor wedding in early April is a brave move, considering the snow we had only a week or two before. On the morning of Rose and Mark’s wedding, we were pleased to see some sunshine, and ecstatic that the arctic wind had all but disappeared. It was perfect weather for the outdoor ceremony, and I was delighted that things could go ahead exactly as Rose and Mark had planned. The rock garden area was the setting for the ceremony and drinks reception, cordoned off exclusively for the wedding party. I especially love a wedding where everything takes place in the same venue, as the day is just so much more relaxed for everyone. The beautiful surroundings that Ness gardens has to offer meant that the wedding guests could take some time out to sit in the sunshine, or have a wander around the extensive gardens. The springtime theme fitted perfectly, and there is nothing better than the sight of a daffodil following a harsh winter.
I do love to pick out the details on an army dress uniform. The bridesmaids all looked so pretty, and were great fun!
The following two photos are some of my favourites from the day.Although the photography style is very natural, most brides and grooms like to have a few group pictures.
I think it was warmer outside than Rose was expecting! There are few sights more pleasing to me than blossom on a tree.
Camper vans as the wedding vehicle are as cool as can be.Backlit by the golden sun; it gives a beautiful look to the image.
Eye-candy details. The speeches are my favourite part of the day to capture, and these photos show why.Rose looked so pretty in very natural make-up, with beautiful skin.
Rose and Mark are such a loving and relaxed couple.
Thank you Rose and Mark, it was a wonderful wedding to capture.
