Here’s a small selection of photographs from Beth & Andy’s wedding last weekend at Saint Hildeburgh’s in Hoylake, on the Wirral, and wedding reception at Craxton Wood in Cheshire. More to follow in a week or two of course.

This is always one of my favourite images from a wedding, Andy & Beth’s eyes meeting as their guests look on getting their first glimpse of her.
Wedding photography tip: The lighting in Saint Hildeburgh’s consists mainly of sodium lamps (Christchurch in Port Sunlight is similar by the way). These can play havoc with cameras as the light is very orange, but as I shoot my images in Raw format it can be dealt with quite effectively during the editing process. Raw images are much larger than JPEGs (typically 30MB instead of 4-5MB), and contain much more information allowing greater freedom and creativity at the editing stage.
